SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2017
SSC has notified that the Junior Engineer (JE) Exam Recruitment will be out on 14 October 2017 (Tentatively). The Examination will be conducted Online From 5 January 2018 to 08 January 2018 (tentative). Eligible candidates may apply for the JE Recruitment through the ssc.nic.in or the sscnotification.com.
SSC JE 2017 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2017 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2017 Exam. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).
SSC JE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for SSC JE 2017 Exam, a candidate needs to fulfill basic three requisites, which are discussed below:

|Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical), Central Water Commission and CPWD||32 years|
|Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), MES||30 years|
|Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical), Department of Post and Junior Engineer (Surveying and contract), MES||18-27 years|
• Educational Qualification
|Junior Engineer (Civil)||CPWD – B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.|
|Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical)||Central Water Commission – B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.|
|Junior Engineer (Electrical)||CPWD – B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.|
|Junior Engineer (Civil)||Department of Posts – B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized University/Institute.|
|Junior Engineer (Electrical)||Department of Posts- B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Electrical engineering from a recognized University/Institute.|
|Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)||MES – B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute and with 2 years work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering works.|
|Junior Engineer (Civil)||MES – B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering OR 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute and with 2 years work experience in civil engineering works.|
|Junior Engineer (QS&C)||MES – B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR Passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying (Sub Divisional-II) from the Institute of Surveyors (India).|
SSC JE 2017 Cut Off
The Cut-Off for SSC JE 2017 will be released once the result for each phase has been declared by SSC. Cut-Off will be released separately, i.e. cut-off for Tier-I will be released first followed by cut-off for Tier-II. Instructions to Apply Online for SSC JE-2017
To apply online for SSC JE 2017 a candidate is required to follow the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the link mentioned below to apply online for SSC JE 2017. http://ssc.nic.in/
Step 2: Click on link of Apply Link provided on the page. The registration link will open up in new window.
Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC JE 2017 application window and click on register button.
Step 4: In first step, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your completed online application form of SSC JE 2017.Always verify your entire details before submitting the form. Candidates will be issued Registration ID for SSC JE 2017 exam.
Candidates are now required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC JE 2017.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates must upload photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by SSC.
Photograph – The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature – The signature should be in black or blue ink on white sheet. The scanned copy of signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to fill up the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE 2017.
Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the entire application form of SSC JE 2017 once to look for any glitches in the form. Verify the entire data entered by you.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the entire online application form.
Candidates are advised to download and get print copies of submitted application form of SSC JE 2017.
Candidates can now proceed to submit the application fee for SSC JE 2017 either by online mode or offline mode of fee payment.A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as SSC JE 2017 Online Application Fee. Candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC/ST/PWD) are exempted from paying Online Application Fee for SSC JE 2017Exam.The examination fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).
