Meaning (English): light and slightly contemptuous mockery or banter.

Meaning (Odia): ଅପମାନ

Use: Since you used persiflage, I knew you were joking about my appearance.

5-Imperceptibly


Part of Speech: Adverb

Meaning (English): in a way that is so slight, gradual, or subtle as not to be perceived.

Meaning (Odia): ଏକ ଉପାୟରେ ଯାହା ଏତେ ସାମାନ୍ୟ, ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ, କିମ୍ବା ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଯେପରି ଅନୁଭବ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ |

Antonyms: abruptly, suddenly

Part of Speech: Noun

Meaning (English): a grave crime or sin.

Meaning (Odia): ଏକ ଗୁରୁତର ଅପରାଧ ବା ପାପ |

Meaning (English): interrupt (a public speaker) with derisive or aggressive comments or abuse.
