1. The Centre has formed a team to recommend an alternate model for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana; Ritesh Chauhan, the PMFBY’s CEO, is the head of the panel.
- The Indian government has formed a working group to come up with alternative sustainable, financial, and operational models for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), which would be implemented starting in Kharif 2022.

2. The NITI Aayog has teamed up with ISRO to launch India’s first geospatial energy map.
- The NITI Aayog has developed the India Geospatial Energy Map, which will provide a comprehensive view of the country’s energy resources.

- The International Cricket Council (ICC) and UNICEF have established a collaboration to promote awareness about mental health and wellness issues among children and adolescents.

4. In the Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2021, an Indian Army squad won gold.
