1. Atmanirbhar Corner was put up in 75 missions and embassies throughout the world by TRIFED.

At the next three months, the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) will set up an Atmanirbhar Bharat nook in 75 Indian Missions/Embassies around the world, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs.
On August 15, 2021, the first such Atma Nirbhar Bharat corner was successfully opened in the Indian Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. Apart from that, TRIFED will set up Atmanirbhar nooks in 75 foreign embassies in India.

2. Shikshak Parv-2021 is inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On September 7, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “Shikshak Parv-2021” and delivered a video message to the inaugural conclave.
“Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learnings from Indian Schools” is the theme of ‘Shikshak Parv-2021.’

5. Equitas Small Finance Bank has partnered with Google Pay to develop a digital savings account.

The Equitas Small Finance Bank (ESFB) has announced a new project in collaboration with Google Pay, under which users of the Google Pay app will be able to make fixed deposits (FDs) on Google Pay in less than two minutes without having to register a bank account with ESFB.
This is a bank’s first-of-its-kind project. Initially, the effort is only available to Google Pay subscribers who use the app on an Android device.

6. EXIM Bank’s MD, Harsha Bhupendra Bangari, has been appointed.

Harsha Bhupendra Bangari has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of the Export-Import Bank of India by the government (EXIM Bank).
Bangari previously worked at EXIM Bank as a deputy managing director.

7. United India Insurance has named SL Tripathy as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment of SL Tripathy as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the United India Insurance Company Limited has been approved by the Cabinet Appointments Committee (ACC) (UIICL).
Tripathy has been appointed to the position until February 29, 2024, or until further orders, whichever comes first, when he reaches the age of superannuation.

8. The appointment of Arun Kumar Singh as the new Chief Executive Officer of BPCL has been approved by the government.

The appointment of Arun Kumar Singh as full-time Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd has been accepted by the central government (BPCL).
Prior to this, Singh worked at BPCL as the director of marketing.

9. Keshav Desiraju, the former Union Health Secretary, died at the age of 66.

Keshav Desiraju, the former Union health secretary, died of “acute coronary syndrome.” He was 66 years old at the time.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s grandson, Desiraju, was the former president’s grandson.
