1-Douse


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): to make something or someone wet by throwing a lot of liquid over it, him, or her:

Meaning (Odia): ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ିବା

Use: We watched as demonstrators doused a car in/with petrol and set it alight.

Synonyms: discommode, exsert, duck

Antonyms: drain, dehydrate


2-Blaze


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): to burn brightly and strongly

Meaning (Odia): ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ

Use: The sun was blazing down that afternoon.

Synonyms: brand, burn, cauterize

Antonyms: cool, extinguish, put out


3-Foster
