1-Promptitude


Part of Speech: Noun

Meaning (English): the quality of acting quickly and without delay.

Meaning (Odia): ତ୍ୱରିତତା

Use: He arranges everything with extraordinary promptitude and foresight

Synonyms: promptness, punctuality, timeliness

Antonyms: tardiness, unpunctuality


2-Plausible


Part of Speech: Adjective

Meaning (English): seeming likely to be true, or able to be believed

Meaning (Odia): ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ

Use: His story was/sounded perfectly plausible.

Synonyms: believable, credible, creditable

Antonyms: implausible, improbable, incredible


3-Demean


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): to cause someone to become less respected

Meaning (Odia): ଅପମାନିତ କରିବା

Use: The entire family was demeaned by his behaviour.

Synonyms: abase, bastardize, canker

Antonyms: elevate, ennoble, uplift


4-Encroach


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): to take control or possession of something in a gradual way and often without being noticed

Meaning (Odia): ଅନୁପ୍ରବେଶ

Meaning (English): an order to temporarily stop something, especially trading or giving information

Meaning (English): to exist in an unpleasant or unwanted situation, often for a long time

Meaning (Odia): କମ ହୋଇଯିବା

Use: He has been languishing in jail for the past 20 years.

Synonyms: decay, droop, emaciate

Antonyms: convalesce, rally, rebound


10-Impediment

Meaning (English): something that makes progress, movement, or achieving something difficult or impossible

Meaning (Odia): ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ

Use: He has an impediment in speech.

Synonyms: balk, bar, block, chain

Antonyms: aid, assistance, benefit
