Part of Speech: Adjective

Mnemonics: UN(not)..PRECEDE(the event occurred in past)…so unprecedented means something which has never occurred in past or it is novel

Meaning (English):  Never done or known before

Meaning (Odia): ଅପୂର୍ବ

Use: This situation is unprecedented in 21st-century life.

Synonyms: a fresh, new, novel, original, strange, unaccustomed, unfamiliar

Antonyms: familiar, hackneyed, old, time-honored, tired


2-Coterminous


Part of Speech: Adjective

Mnemonics: co+ term+ inous. Term usually means time period or “meaning”. Coterm – inous is something having same term( meaning or time or extent )

Meaning (English): Having the same boundaries or extent in space, time

Meaning (Odia): ସହ-ସୀମା

Use: France is coterminous with Italy.

Synonyms: coexistent, coexisting, coextensive, coincident, coincidental

Antonyms: asynchronous, noncontemporary, nonsimultaneous, nonsynchronous


3-Debacle


Part of Speech: Noun

Mnemonics: Buckle + Belt

Meaning (English):  An event that is a complete failure & causes embarrassment

Meaning (Odia): ତ୍ରୁଟି

Use: My first performance was a debacle.

Synonyms: Apocalypse, Calamity, Catastrophe

4-Stagger

Meaning (English): To produce or show something
