1. Union Minister Arjun Munda opened the Integrated Command and Control Centre for Agriculture.
◉ The Agriculture Integrated Command and Control Centre was inaugurated at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Arjun Munda.
◉ By giving them access to necessary resources such as facilities, services, and information, this effort seeks to empower farmers across the country. The principal objective is to increase the nation’s farmers’ level of self-sufficiency.

◉ Farmers can make educated decisions by having access to real-time data about their fields. The programme aims to recognise and address the real issues facing the agriculture industry.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi used video conferencing to officially open projects totalling Rs 118 crore 72 lakh across Madhya Pradesh, including the Spiritual Experience Project in Chitrakoot.

◉ These initiatives fall under the Prasad and Swadesh Darshan 2.0 programmes.
In Chitrakoot, the “Experience of Spirituality at Chitrakoot Ghat” project was officially launched by the Prime Minister.
◉ In addition, he conducted the Bhoomi Pujan, which cost about Rs 26 crore 55 lakh and was intended to upgrade and improve the Ganga Ghats.

3. Launch of “Subhash Abhinandan” Digital Exhibition on the 134th National Archives of India Foundation Day
◉ On March 11, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will open a digital exhibition in New Delhi called “Subhash Abhinandan” in honour of the 134th Foundation Day of the National Archives of India.
◉ The exhibition, which honours the life of Subhash Chandra Bose, is organised by the National Archives of India and consists of sixteen sections that highlight significant events from his birth to the present. It is divided into sixteen parts that cover important turning points from Bose’s birth to his lasting influence.

4. Hong Kong Enacts Tougher Prison Sentences and Tighter National Security Law
There is a new draft national security law from Hong Kong.

◉ The treason, espionage, and external interference bills that are being proposed represent a major expansion of governmental power in the area.
◉ This comes amid a broader crackdown on dissent that has resulted in the imprisonment or exile of pro-democracy stalwarts.
◉ The draft tightens the punishments for several infractions. Legal commentators draw attention to sweeping definitions, especially when it comes to state secrets and sedition.

5. Rajendra Prasad Goyal Takes On New Responsibilities As NHPC Limited’s Chairman and MD
◉ The Director (Finance) of NHPC, Rajendra Prasad Goyal, has taken on the dual role of Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC Limited, an esteemed hydroelectric organisation recognised by the Indian government and classified as a Schedule “A” industry.
◉ Having worked with NHPC for more than 35 years, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in a variety of financial areas. He has shown tremendous growth over the years, propelled by a strong sense of duty, moral behaviour, and steadfast commitment to the organization’s objectives.

◉ At the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the inaugural National Creators Award.

◉ The awards programme seeks to recognise brilliance and innovation that promotes good social change in a variety of fields, including gaming, storytelling, environmental sustainability, advocacy for social change, and education.

7. Nominated Sudha Murty Regarding the Rajya Sabha
◉ Rajya Sabha member and philanthropist Sudha Murty was nominated by President Droupadi Murmu. This was declared by PM Modi, who also praised Sudha Murty and said that her contribution to a variety of sectors has been “immense and inspiring.”
◉ Author, philanthropist, and former chair of the Infosys Foundation Sudha Murty is an Indian. She also participates in the Gates Foundation’s public health programmes. Harvard University now houses the Murty Classical Library of India, founded by Murty.

8. India To Build A 10,000-GPU Supercomputer To Advance Self-Sufficient Artificial Intelligence
◉ A fresh $1.24 billion investment has been approved by the Indian government, headed by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, for the IndiaAI mission.
◉ The objective of this effort is to establish an AI ecosystem that is exclusively Indian, hence enhancing India’s technological capabilities and stimulating AI innovation.
◉ A public-private cooperation will be used to construct the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, which is anticipated to comprise 10,000 “or more” GPUs as AI accelerators to serve research organisations and entrepreneurs.

9. James Anderson of England Enrols in the Elite 700 Test Wickets Club
◉ On the morning of the third and final Test match against India in Dharamsala, England’s James Anderson grabbed his 700th wicket in the game by dismissing Kuldeep Yadav of India.
◉ With this historic achievement, Anderson becomes the third bowler in Test cricket history to reach the 700-wicket plateau.
◉ In 2003, Anderson claimed his maiden Test wicket at Lord’s against Zimbabwe, taking five wickets in the process. At forty-one, it took him another 184 Tests to become the lone pacer in the 700-club.
