1. Odisha CM introduced the “Football for All” initiative
◉ In order to spread the culture of football to the masses, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik created “Football for All” in the state.
◉ In conjunction with the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, FIFA launched the program in Odisha (KISS).
◉ Children in roughly 2000 schools will receive more than 43,000 footballs. This is the first FIFA initiative in India to encourage schoolchildren to play football.

2. Toyota’s Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid EV experimental project was introduced by Nitin Gadkari.
◉ Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways has launched Toyota’s groundbreaking trial program for its Flex Fuel-Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (FFV-SHEV), which can run on 100 percent ethanol.
◉ The Toyota Corolla Altis FFV-SHEV, which was imported from Toyota Brazil for the experimental project, was introduced during the introduction.
◉ Vehicles that are flex-fuel compatible can run on a variety of fuels, including a blend. Usually, a mixture of gasoline and ethanol or methanol is employed.

3. Complete transition to renewable energy at Mumbai Airport
◉ The Adani group and AAI ran The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai has shifted to green energy, meeting 95% of its needs using hydro and wind power and the remaining 5% with solar electricity.
◉ The plant saw a tremendous increase in the use of renewable energy, going from 57% green consumption in April to a staggering 98.3% between May and July, and ultimately reaching 100% in August.
◉ India’s first airport to use hybrid technology is Mumbai Airport, which has been entirely powered by green energy since April.

4. Himachal Pradesh launches a new initiative HIMCAD will assist farmers
◉ The state government of Himachal Pradesh has initiated a new program called “HIMCAD” to provide irrigation services to farmers in the state.

11. By 2025, India’s space economy will be worth $13 billion.
◉ According to a collaborative report produced by Ernst and Young and the Indian Space Association, the Indian space economy is anticipated to reach $13 billion by 2025. (ISpA).
◉ According to the paper titled “Developing the Space Ecosystem in India: Focusing on Inclusive Growth,” India’s space industry was estimated to be worth $9.6 billion in 2020 and is predicted to reach $12.8 billion by 2025.
It was mentioned that there are presently over 100 space technology start-ups in India and that by 2021, investments in this sector will total $68 million.
◉ By 2025, the satellite services and application segment would make up the greatest portion of the space economy, accounting for 36% of it.
