1. Indian nationals would be evacuated from Israel under Operation Ajay.
◉ India has started Operation Ajay to make it easier for its residents who want to return from Israel to do so.
◉ This operation was launched by the minister of external affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, who emphasized the government’s dedication to protecting the security and welfare of Indian nationals abroad.
◉ Indian citizens are being returned from Israel using special charter aircraft and other plans.
◉ Indian citizens who have registered on the special flight have begun hearing from the Indian Embassy in Israel, starting with the first batch. There will be further flights, and contact will be made as necessary.

2. Review of Left Wing Extremism in New Delhi meeting is presided over by Amit Shah.
◉ In New Delhi, the review meeting on left-wing extremism was presided over by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
◉ According to Amit Shah, the country will be free of Left Wing Extremism (LWE) in two years.
◉ The year 2022 saw the least amount of violent occurrences and fatalities in Naxal-affected areas in the previous forty years, according to the meeting I presided over to examine the security situation in LWE-affected States.
◉ In comparison to the peak in 2010, violent events in Naxal-affected States have decreased by 77% in 2022.

3. At the Uttarakhand Youth Mahotsav, the UK CM debuts the “Rozgar Prayag Portal.”
◉ Uttarakhand The “Rozgar Prayag Portal” has been introduced by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Uttarakhand Youth Mahotsav-2023 event held at Parade Ground in Dehradun.
◉ The government created the portal with the intention of giving employment options in the state on a single portal for young people.
◉ The chief minister of Uttarakhand also introduced the “Yuva Uttarakhand App” and opened self-employment centers in the Dehradun and Udham Singh Nagar employment offices.
◉ The ITDA created the app to consolidate the plans offered by multiple departments in one location.

4. Launch of the “A-HELP” initiative in Jharkhand
◉ The ‘A-HELP’ (Accredited Agent for Health and Extension of Livestock Production) initiative was introduced in the state of Jharkhand by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Government of India.
◉ By hiring them as Accredited Agents for disease control and livestock insurance, the program seeks to increase the authority of women in the livestock industry.
◉ The program will give farmers closer access to veterinary care and give Pashu Sakhis more control.
◉ The innovative “A-HELP” initiative has been launched by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) across a number of States and Union Territories, including Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand.

5. UAE will preside over a global climate change conference in 2023.
◉ The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s 2023 Conference on Climate Change and Nuclear Energy was presided over by the UAE.
◉ In order to achieve the goals of limiting global warming, the conference aims to provide a forum for Member States, representatives of low-carbon energy sectors, international organizations, and other pertinent bodies to exchange information on the role of nuclear energy in the process of eradicating carbon emissions.
◉ This event is a great chance to talk about pertinent policies and strategies with various international organizations and to share knowledge on how peaceful nuclear energy may be used to combat climate change.

6. RBI prohibits Bank of Baroda from adding new users to its mobile application.
◉ The Bank of Baroda (BoB) has been ordered by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to suspend onboarding new clients into its mobile banking service, known as “Bob World,” immediately.
◉ The decision was made in response to some serious supervisory issues with how their consumers were onboarded for this mobile application.
◉ The bank must improve the procedure in accordance with RBI regulations and address any current flaws before it can attract new customers.
◉ Bob said that existing customers wouldn’t experience any downtime and would keep using the mobile app without interruption.

7. RBI intends to integrate participants of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme into the PIDF Program.
◉ The Reserve Bank Governor has agreed to prolong the Payments Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF) Scheme’s term by an additional two years and to include PM Vishwakarma as a beneficiary.
◉ The PIDF Scheme is now being recommended to be extended by another two years, or until December 31, 2025, the RBI stated when announcing a bi-monthly monetary policy.
◉ The PIDF Scheme, which will go into operation in January 2021, aims to encourage the deployment of physical Point of Sale (PoS) and Quick Response (QR) codes as well as other payment acceptance infrastructure in tier-3 to tier-6 centers, north-eastern states, and the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

8. The AMFI’s new chairman is Navneet Munot.
◉ Navneet Munot and Anthony Heredia have been chosen by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) as their new chairman and vice-chairperson, respectively.
◉ Munot is currently HDFC Asset Management’s Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund is led by Heredia, who also serves as CEO.
◉ A Balasubramanian’s two-year term as chairman and Radhika Gupta’s as vice-chairperson comes to an end with the election.
◉ The elected representatives typically serve two-year terms even though the group has elections for the two posts each year.

◉ The Best Asian TV Series prize has been given to Hansal Mehta’s newsroom drama series Scoop at the current Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
◉ The series, which features Karishma Tanna in the lead role, is based on Jigna Vora’s memoir “Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison.”
