1. The seventh tiger reserve in MP is now Veerangana Durgavati.
◉ Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve has been designated as Madhya Pradesh’s seventh tiger reserve by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change.
◉ The reserve’s total area is roughly 2,339 square kilometers, of which the core area is 1,414 square kilometers and the buffer zone is 925.12 square kilometers.
◉ Making improved conservation efforts for the local fauna is the main goal.
◉ In India, there are currently 55 declared tiger reserves.
◉ Dholpur-Karauli Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan was the previous 54th Tiger Reserve.
◉ Six tiger reserves existed in Madhya Pradesh at the time: Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Satpura, Pench, Panna, and Sanjay-Dubri.
2. Three national honors are given to Chhattisgarh for Ayushman Bharat.
◉ For its exceptional implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme under the “big states” category, Chhattisgarh state has won three national awards. It utilized all allocated funds and made sure that 90% of families had an Ayushman card.
◉ In the past five years, Chhattisgarh has established a number of cutting-edge programs to improve access to high-quality healthcare services, and the initiatives have received praise from around the country.
◉ The Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana is one such program that offers people of the state’s remote forested areas free medical care. More than 1.4 crore people have benefited from this program’s free medication, medical exams, and treatment.
3. Madhya Pradesh will host the “India Smart Cities Conclave 2023.”
◉ The ‘India Smart Cities Conclave 2023’ has been held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
◉ The conclave intends to showcase the exceptional work completed under the Smart Cities Mission and influence how India’s cities will change in the future.

4. RBI Fines SBI, IB, Punjab & Sind Bank and Other Financial Institutions
◉ Three banks—State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, and Fedbank Financial Services—have each received financial fines from the RBI for breaking the rules.
◉ The central bank fined SBI Rs 1.30 crore, IB Rs 1.62 crore, Punjab & Sind Bank Rs 1 crore, and Fedbank Financial Services Rs 8.80 lakh.
◉ For failing to follow certain instructions concerning “Loans and Advances – Statutory and Other Restrictions” and “Guidelines on Management of Intra-Group Transactions and Exposures,” the RBI fined SBI 1.30 crore rupees.
5. PhonePe, a digital payments startup with headquarters in Bengaluru, has established its own app store platform in an effort to break Google’s monopoly and draw in Android developers in India.
◉ The Indus Appstore Developer Platform may be a more enticing alternative than Google’s Play Store because it offers free registration and app upload for the first year, no platform cost, and no commission on in-app purchases.
◉ The app store also supports a lot of locally relevant features, like a phone number-based login mechanism, 12 Indian languages, and third-party payment providers.

7. Katrina Kaif has been named the brand ambassador for Uniqlo India.
◉ Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has been named Uniqlo’s first brand ambassador in India. Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing shop.
◉ This partnership is a component of Uniqlo’s plan to increase its market share in India and publicize its Fall- Winter 2023 campaign.
◉ Tennis player Roger Federer, was chosen as Uniqlo’s global brand ambassador in 2018, before Kaif in the ranks.
8. The new Tata Advanced Systems chairman is Banmali Agarwal.
◉ Tata Sons has named Banmali Agarwal as the next chairman of the group’s Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) division, which provides aerospace and military solutions.
◉ In place of Vijay Singh, who retired, he has been appointed.
He serves as chairman of Tata Electronics and senior advisor to Tata Sons.

9. At the 2023 Asian Games, Sift Kaur Samra won the gold medal in shooting.

◉ This was the fifth-place overall finish for India and its first individual gold at these Games.

10. With the highest-ever T201 score of 314, Nepal makes history.

◉ With the fastest hundred ever scored by Kushal Malla and the fastest fifty ever struck by Dipnedra Singh Airee in the history of T20 Internationals, Nepal posted the greatest total ever.
