Meaning (English): compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered or effort made

Meaning (Odia):  କ୍ଷତି ପାଇଁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା କ୍ଷତିପୂରଣ କିମ୍ବା ପୁରସ୍କାର |

Use: She received a gift as recompense.

7-Bode


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): be an omen of a particular outcome

Meaning (Odia): ଏକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଫଳାଫଳର ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷଣ |

Meaning (English): making or spreading scandalous claims about someone with the intention of damaging their reputation
