Part of Speech: Adjective

Meaning (English): able to last and be used for a long time without becoming damaged

Meaning (Odia): ସ୍ଥାୟୀ

Use: The machines have to be made of durable materials.

Synonyms: persistent, permanent, lasting

Antonyms: vulnerable, unserviceable, irresponsible


2-Dawdle


Part of Speech: Verb

Meaning (English): to do something or go somewhere very slowly, taking more time than is necessary

Meaning (Odia): ସମୟ ସମାପ୍ତ

Use: Stop dawdling! You’ll be late for school!

Synonyms: loaf, lag, hover

Antonyms: whiz, outrun, go
